  July Mission Project - Back to School  

Remember how much fun it was to get new crayons, folders, backpacks and other school supplies?  For many families in the Tri-State this is a hardship.

The Board of Outreach and Social Concerns is asking you to help these kids have the needed supplies when they start back to school in August.  Following is a list of school supplies and personal care items needed.

School supplies: pens/pencils, erasers, rulers, scissors, colored pencils, crayons, pocket folders, backpacks, 3-ring binders, paper, and notebooks.

Personal care items: shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, combs, brushes, and deodorant.

Please place supplies in the Mission Cabinet located in the foyer between the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall.

  UCC Disaster Recovery Mission Trip  
Rev. Michael Erwin is helping to coordinate a work camp to continue hurricane relief in the New Orleans area.  The mission trip will be October 19th through October 25th.  This trip is for those sixteen years or older.  Housing will be $50 per person.  Food and travel will be in addition to this amount.  Please contact Rev. Erwin if you are interested and would like to learn more.

  Fall Preschool  
Bethel Preschool is now registering for fall!  Registration forms may be picked up in the Preschool or church office.  If someone you refer to the Preschool registers for Fall 2008 and remains one month, you will receive $10.00 off your second month's tuition. Call 477-7105 for more information!
